Could always talk about how year to year OSU is overrated. It's sad considering that folks in 49 states, U.S. territories, and internationally already know this, but the reality is that all they need to do is win out against their highschool team opponents and hope for Bama or FSU to take a loss to their strength of schedule, in which they could just sneak into a championship.

Of course we know once there, they'll just waste everyone's time with a loss, and some other more deserving team will have lost a shot at the championship.

But Ohio State shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Miami deserved to be there because their season included such powerhouses as Florida A&M, Temple, Boston College, Connecticut, West Virginia, Rutgers, Tennessee, and Syracuse.  But why wasn't LSU invited to play?  I mean, they were busy that season playing such dominant forces in Collegiate football as The Citadel, Miami of Ohio, Mississippi State, Louisiana-Lafayette, South Carolina (a 5-7 team at the time), Kentucky, Auburn (9-4 that year), Arkansas (9-5),  and Ole Miss (7-6).

But that was a long time ago, how about this year?
8/31/13 - Beat 20th ranked TCU 37-27
9/7/13 - Beat HS team UAB (currently 2-7) 56-17
9/14/13 - Beat HS team Kent State (2-8) 45-13
9/21/13 - Beat unranked Auburn 35-21
9/28/13 - Lost to a very tough 9th ranked Georgia 41-44
10/5/13 - Beat HS team Mississippi State (4-5) 59-26
10/12/13 - Beat 17th ranked Florida (4-5) 17-6
10/19/13 - Lost to HS team Ole Miss (6-3) 24-27
10/26/13 - Beat HS team Furman (5-5) 48-16
11/9/13 - Lost (badly) to #1 ranked Alabama 17-38

Now what were you saying about High School teams and strength of schedule?  UAB?  Kent State? FURMAN?!?!

Yeah every team has some weak teams scheduled, but that's just the thing. With Ohio State, it's their whole fucking schedule. Where is their vs top 5 play? Nothing. What about vs top 10? Not even there. All they ever have at best is like one in the 20's and one in the 16-19 range every damn year.


And we all know how OSU matches up out of conference. They always get slaughtered by SEC teams.




So please, stop trying to waste everyone's time with that bullshit. If Ohio State wants some respect, they need to start scheduling some serious competition. Instead they play a little bitch game of trying to win out against no name teams, many times just squeaking by, and hoping that other teams in the top 5 get beat by their strength of schedule opponents so they can slide into a number 2 spot chance at the championship.
