HA!  Actually, we had at least half a dozen people approach us while we were working on it and make offers.  I guess it never hurts to ask but it got irritating, especially since we were obviously taking care to neatly label and stack all of the shit on the trailer.

The poured slab is a necessity.  This is going to be our workshop with car and motorcycle lifts, my brother's paint booth, etc.  It will have a 6" slab with radiant in-floor heating.  One of my brother's buddies owns a concrete company.  He is going to do all of the grading and labor in exchange for a motorcycle Nate's restoring.  All we have to cover is the material cost, which at ~54 cubic feet is not inconsiderable.

This is a quick model I did to kinda visualize how to use the space and what kind of room there will be with stuff in it.  Looks like there's more than enough room for 2 guys' projects.

I have work in alot of Scissor lift in the past, the can be shaky but personally i think there a blast,  I like the big man lifts tht boom out 80-90 ft up, a good wind and you can sway 2-3 feet.  thats alway intresting.

Very cool and thanks for the story. Can't wait to see pictures of it all setup. My family use to own a farm in PA and I loved it. I miss the barn and the tractors. Once my family moved to dreadful FL we only managed to visit a couple of times.  Sadly almost all the land but the land the farmhouse is on was sold. The barn for years was also holding a Ford Edsel owned by my family, but happily my Uncle (who builds kit Shelby Cobras) keeps it in his garage now slowly restoring it.
