I've handled one snacks, its a pretty decent gun for the price, and the pistol grip is a nice little addon. Don't you already have a pistol though?

 Apature Science makes a nice retail version of their top selling military brand defense turret. It even talks to you as its shooting you in a nice soothing melodic voice. Dunno the price though  |

Yeah, I suppose that could be true. But that's the beauty of the shotgun... start off by racking one into the chamber (identify friend or foe) and if that doesn't deter them you shoot the rubber balls or beanbag at them a couple of times (youtube videos of hillbillies shooting each other with this stuff is hilarious). Then if they're really persistent your 3rd thru 7th shell can be 00 buck shot.
