I wonder how that thing handles now.

Actually, I'm going to go with a fastback kit and widebody kit.

Ultimately, the plan is to replace the drivetrain with a 480hp GM LS3, Tremec T56 6-speed, Getrag rear end, 245 series tires on 15x9 rims, big brake kit, AFCO coilovers, and full chassis reinforcement.

Here's the fastback and widebody kits:

If anyone out there has about $20,000 they don't need, I'll be happy to take it off your hands.

I'd love to do this Mod to the Jeep: http://www.aev-conversions.com/products/brute/

If anyone has an extra 10g on top of JT's 20k I'll gladly take it.

I'll sell you a ZJ with 3" Pro-Comp lift that you can drive while you install the Brute on your TJ.

New brakes, radiator, shocks, tie rods, track bar drop bracket, quick-disconnect sway bar links, ball joints, and some other things I'm forgetting.

How about a '99 Trooper in need of an engine rebuild?  I've got one of those too.  Also, a '97 Ram 1500 in need of a tranny?  '78 IH Scout II in need of full resto?  I got what you need!

Scouts are awesome, but I'm not ready for a full restoration. Not with school starting for me soon. I'm still trying to find part time work.

Dude JT - Those fastback Miata kits look PIMP.

BTW, my brother has an LS1 shortblock he might want to sell.

haha, I already e-mailed him about it.  Is he keeping the heads, intake, ecu, accessories?  If so, the shortblock is pretty useless, seeing as how there's a hole in the block and the internals are popped.  I would only want it for the top end and electricals.  Block, crank, pistons, rods, seals, and bearings will need replacement anyway.  I guess the oil sump might be salvageable?

I will once we get the barn up at my brother's house.  He says the concrete guys will be out in a week or two to pour the slab.  I keep telling him to rub some funk on it so we can get the fucking thing up before winter hits.  He's a slacker, what can I say?

Sweet kits for the Miata.

You know they sell kits to put a mustang drivetrain in miatas?  Monster Miata or something.  Although....from what I saw on those the numbers weren't really impressive.  Of course...the numbers on a stock fox chassis 5.0 from a mustang weren't terribly hardon giving either.

Hate to say it but yeah, the GM Sounds like a better choice hehe.

As far as my projects:

My poor Tbird is up for sale, (noone wants to give me what I want..) haven't done a damn thing to it....including driving it in about a year or so so....time to say goodbye.

Pinto is under the cover and waiting for...everything to happen to it I guess.  And, I'm thinking of making the Xr4ti into a trailer.

Plus just bought a new truck...and still waiting for my landlord to pick up my xterra...and my father's truck is waiting to be sold.  ....too many projects not enough time.  Pinto will be the keeper though, just not enough of those around in as good condition as the one I have.  Although...it could use floors.

I really like that miata idea though, go for it, defenitly nice looking kit for it!
