Xbox 360 Kinect - Prices and Stuff announced.

Essentially, stand alone Kinect costs $150, with a bundle it costs $300.

I don't know if I am going to get one right away, it seems like the only thing it really does is let two people stand in front of the TV flailing their arms like an idiot at Wii-Ware esque games.  At least with the Wii you can still sit down and play the game on a couch if you really want to with most of those games.  I really want to see some actual game integration before I would consider a purchase.

Any thoughts to the Kinect from yall?

yeah would have to see it in action. Right now I think it wouldnt be something I'd buy....since I never thought having a Wii was a good idea. I just play sports games on it.

I think the concept is amazing, but none of the game types I actually play can function with it yet. I would love to see this technology advanced though. I think PlayStation's Move is a good middle ground.

I concour, once maybe they work on making some really good uses for it and keep advancing the technology it will be worth looking into.
