Alright guys, I just want to familiarize everyone with the proceedure of being a proper Saints fan for the upcoming big game.

First there's the "Who Dat" cheer, which all of you I think should know by now, so not bothered to repeat.
There's also an extended version, which requires your best Cajun voice impersonation, which goes something like this:

Shoo.. Who dat say dey gonna go head and go on down dere and beat dem damn Saints bo? Nooobody

Incidently, all of the prior mentioned words consist of 90% of the Cajun vocabulary, with words like "Eeelesshuu" and "Guarandee" and a couple other interchangables filling out the rest.

If you happen to see a Saints fan shaking an empty milk bottle, or some other container filled with coins, that's what's called a Gris-Gris rattle (pronounced "Gree-Gree"), and it's used to put the Ju-Ju (or some other hex) on Peyton Manning, or the Colts in general. Obviously this stems from the tradition of Voodoo in the region, and is grass roots reason why I played a Shaman, or some hex based class such as Warlock in WoW.

The Ju-Ju is important bullshit.

Whenever Robert Meachem rips off a big catch for 30+ yards or a touchdown for the first time, you should shout "Pleased to Meachem!". Which is akin to saying "Pleased to meet 'cha", as Robert is introducing himself to the opposing team's exposed coverage

Normaly you should give Reggie Bush shit, for being a USC overrated back which produces more horizontal yardage than vertical on his carries. Since the playoffs he seems to have reversed this trend, but be ready to ride his ass if shit goes south with the running game.

Factoids for some interesting commercial chatter:

The Superdome was allegedly built on the secret grave spot of the Voodoo queen of New Orleans, Marie Laveau. Tradition suggests that this cursed the Saints from going to the Superbowl, so as of the win in the NFC championship, this curse is seen as lifted.

The talk is that Tom Benson, owner of the Saints had signed off on a sale of the Saints to Texas, but after Katrina happened he reneg'd and brought it back to New Orleans, which is seen as having lifted the curse. The act of Katrina itself is also said to have been what blew the curse away.

New Orleans is 5ft below sea level, and as such many graves are above ground.

Aside from the deaths that happened from Katrina, the hurricane has actually been a boon for the region. Reconstruction has kept unemployment very low, and increased job opportunities. There are only a few that have been truly victimized concerning property loss from the event, and these are usally the people who didnt know the proper channels to go through, in order to be compensated for damages recieved. Thanks to your tax dollars, charities, and government inefficiency in general, people were able to turn a net gain from Katrina.

That should cover the basics. If you want access to the exclusive Premium Fanpack Kit, i'm going to have to charge money.

Yeah I'd say you missed 'em.

That and my declaration of being a Favre fan, so the NFC Championship was a bittersweet gem

Tell the Saints to get their own shitty battle cry.  Way to steal Cincinnati's annoying shit and make it even more annoying.

I didn't know the Denver Saints made it to Super Bowl. That's awesome!

ROFL, so funny because it was the Bengals that stole "Who Dat". Unoriginal.

It originated from Patterson LA., when the Patterson Lumberjacks chanted "Who dat say dey gon’ beat dem ‘Jacks?”  look that shit up.

That was in the 70's and the Bengals didn't chant that shit till mid 80's when Saints were doing it early 80's, so they just stole from the south cause they "aint got nothing original".

Patterson happens to be the home of former Saints running back Dalton Hilliard.

Nice chat though.

Saints lose, Breeze cries, Tebow comforts him, Manning goes to Disney World.
