I still think it is pretty fun. ON the whole, I think MW2 is a better game all around, but other than that it is still a pretty good game. I am trying to learn how to suck less at it though.

I agree... I don't seem to have that many problems and if you can't find a server than you aren't on the FMC server you douchebag. The server has not been at capacity since the weekend so there's no excuse to have your ass on any other server. I can't say that spawning takes any longer than it did in PS when you sucked and died a lot and if the Killcam is off on the server like ours is then it's even faster.

i am loving it. for some reason though I am crashing to desktop randomly and I think i need a new motherboard and cpu. I will be playing still but if you see me bail thats what happened, should be right back on.
Also. i am leaving for vegas in the morning for 4 days. Its gonna be Battlefield Wife: Boob Company 2

gave it another go. I have a really really hard time picking up people. I dunno if its old age, too big a monitor, or what...fucking annoying as balls.
Also if you move WHILE in iron sight can you still not hit shit? Do you have to stop? I was 5 feet from a guy with the heavy MG and wasnt in iron sights and didnt fucking hit him. FUCK YOU FUCKING FUCKS!

I would support coupons for laser eye surgery being placed in game boxes. One of those weird people that things glasses are the devil, and would never take the time to even attempt contacts. Yet age is starting to take its effect on my eyes.

Finally got frustrated enough to nuke AVG from my computer. That has sped up the getting back in after dying and general game performance. The server browser is still a joke.

Ok, once you get it there's a few things to do: 1) Kill your AV software 2) Go to c:\users\you\documents\bfbc2\settings.ini and change the dxversion setting to 9 instead of auto, then change your field of view setting (FOV) according to the calculator here: http://badcompanytwo.com/news-tidbits/bc2-field-of-view-guide/3) Enjoy reasonable server load times, 90 degree fov, better frames/sec, and killing strangers. Just went 16/4 and my hope in this game is renewed. Server browser is still shit, though. |
