Sorry I can't help more, other then to say I still have always felt I got more performance from Nvidia cards. My nvidia cards always can be overclocked, or run faster then advertised, where as ATI always runs right at advertised.

On an unrelated note, Nvidia might be in some trouble. Now that Intel has changed the entire architecture, Nvidia is fighting in court to get rights to develop chipsets for the i5/i7, so nForce is slowly dieing. ATI has got the 2nd huge contract with Microsoft for the xBox 360 and the "mystery next console".

Good for ATI!  I've been pulling for them ever since nvidia gobbled up 3dfx and canned driver support for my killer Voodoo 2 + ATI Rage dual card combo.  Police Quest and Sim City 2000 never looked so good!
