Too soon?
No not too soon. Next season can't come fast enough.
Can't wait to see OS get shutout by another Purdue team again.
Then your big mouth won't be anywhere to be found. You'll be hiding in an electric shack along with Craig James' boy.

I'm sorry, please remind me again who won their bowl game. And while we're at it, could you remind me who lost their bowl game to a BIG TEN TEAM? And also remind me which conference the team was from that very fucking nearly lost (if not for a complete joke of a kicker) to NORTH-FUCKING-WESTERN? (A: OSU, LSU, SEC)
MY big mouth? I said neither jack nor shit at the start of the season. You, my friend, were the one that came in with your chest pushed out talking mad shit about everyone that wasn't in the SEC or Brett Favre. Did I not, on several occasions, speak critically of Pryor, our fans, even my own namesake? I think I did. But your swollen SEC pride couldn't be contained and you had to reinvent yourself as a crusader against the evil OSU empire. At each loss: Comments about OSU being overrated, their mascot being "a pile of shit", their conference and schedule being full of "highschool teams".
And yet here I stand; Accused of villainy. What have I done, other than to use your own, unprovoked tactics against you? I'm not fabricating wild accusations or untrue assertions. I've simply dug up a litany of your insults, their barbs now twisted 180 degrees by the truth of hindsight, and placed them neatly back in your lap for consideration.
OSU may lose to Purdue again next year. This is true. But then again, LSU may lose to Purdue next year. The point is that neither you nor I have any way to know for sure, but more importantly, that we cannot influence the outcome. We are all simply observers. Cheer as hard as you want, fill your closets with licensed apparel, write snipey shit on a blog or forum somewhere. None of it really matters. The guys on the field are the ones doing the work, having an effect. They are the only people who can truly bask in the pride of victory and become sullen by the bitterness of defeat. We are simply here to watch, enjoy, drink some drinks, and eat some eats. It's OK for football to become the lives of the players and coaches, but as fans, we need to maintain a healthy detachment from the emotional torment of the sport. I'm not saying friendly ribbing isn't acceptable. By all means, rib away. But when people begin taking personal something they ultimately have no control over....well that's just silly.

Eh, the big Ten seems to have held their own in bowl season this year. Generally the SEC seems to have the best teams yet again, the Big 12 seems good, the PAC 10 less so, and the Big East not really, no. ACC, eh, right in there, beating the likes of Kentucky and West Virginia, Tennessee as well, back to work, Lane Kiffin. Also, you are stupid.

It's not about personal attacks. Lately you have just been so jealous over the SEC, and LSU that these actions came to fruition.
Really was it necessary to dig up quotes from months and months ago?
To be quite honest ever since OSU lost to LSU, you have had conference envy, and it's affected your judgement. Clearly in this manner you have tried to lash out in order to release some of that pent up jealousy.

Yeah I can't quite place my finger on it. But for some reason it's causing this conference to dominate all others in bowl wins.
Whats the current number of BCS championships belonging to SEC again?
Don't count em up just yet, Bama is fixing to add another.

I love this thread. It's better than the actual football season.

I know, I have to admit its pretty fun speaking critically on JT's insecurities.
Whenever SEC dominance is brought up, and the fact that OSU got owned by LSU, he gets all mad about it, and starts bringing up old shit.
I bet right now he's about ready to donkey punch his keyboard. Kind of reminds me of that young German kid smashing his keyboard.
Oh snap look at that, Ole Miss just hung it up on OKST 21 to 7. Just goes to show OOC cant hang.
Also dont even get me started on FLA over Cincy, HAHAHAHAH!!!11112@!!

I only bring up "old shit" to illustrate how unreliable you are as a witness. Undoubtedly, I will be able to use your current shit as testimony at a later date. A wise man in your position would glean that the depths of his incorrectness and the futility of his arguments have left him without a leg to stand on, and that perhaps it's time to sit down.
However (and sadly, if I may editorialize for a moment), when pinned down by the magnificent weight of your un-realized vitriol you behave like the cornered fox: Thrashing about wildly. Spitting. Kicking. Swearing. All of it utterly ineffective and a little depressing to watch.
But don't worry. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help. Like the fox, you have something wrong with you. Perhaps the fox has a thorn in its paw. For you, that thorn is the insecurity that won't let you be wrong, even in the face of unarguable truth. Or maybe the fox has herpes. For you, those herpes are the southern mindset that you're all superior to northerners, which I think we settled a long time ago in a little round of fisticuffs called the Civil War. Or most likely, perhaps the fox is freaking out because he spent the whole season arrogantly banging the drum of his team and conference but then the floor fell out, his team lost a couple games, didn't go to the national championship as anticipated, and lost to a team from the very conference he spent the whole season pissing on...all while the specific team he was dogging ended up going to the Rose Bowl and winning against a very fast West-Coast offense that teams from their high-school conference aren't supposed to be able to hang with. I think that last metaphor translates itself.
The upshot is that we get to do this all again in 9 short months! Go BCS!!!

My my my.
I haven't seen such a pathetic mental shell of a defense mustered for quite some time. You deal in fallacies, and distort half-truths to try and enforce your position. Yet that position is shallow, baseless, and like a house of cards, needs but a simple gust to bring it crashing down.
You may in good faith try to parry the onslaught of critical information which overflows your ability to comprehend, much like a 4 year old trying in futility to absorb in Astrophysics.
Let us then examine the facts that have shattered your sense of self.
FACT: LSU has directly played OSU, and the result was clearly in favor of LSU.
FACT: SEC has won the most BCS bowls, has the most BCS NC wins, and hast the biggest total bowl win percentage.
FACT: The North lost more soldiers in the American Civil War, then did the South. By a staggering margin, and this flies in the face of your notion of "northern superiority". Its funny because despite the fact that the north was "more industrialized" and had a more extensive railroad system, they got their asses handed to them on the field of battle. Conversly, this performance has carried over to NCAA football.
That amigo is clear-cut factual information.
You portray me as a desparate fox, which is quite amusing. In mentioning concepts of Darwinism, lets us both acknowledge that NCAA football is Darwinism personified; Only the strongest survive.
This being the case, your persona is much like that of the Dodo-bird. As we know, it was once a glorious bird, capable of flight. This speaks metaphorically to the Big Ten, as at one point they may have in fact been relevant. However the dodo migrated to an island and as time progressed, it became complacant and sure of itself, much like the Big Ten thinks of itself today in the world of college football. It became comfortable with it's surroundings, shedding it's wings for it no longer needed to fly, as it was not threatened in its then present habitat. That could not have been further from the truth.
Today the bird no longer exists, hunted to extinction by new predators brought onto it's island. Having lost the ability of flight, it could not migrate to escape.
The world of SEC football has landed on the shores of Big Ten island. It's conference leaders, have no concept of what has hit them, and having become complacant in their offensive and defensive schemes, and recruiting methods, and are being hunted to extinction without wings to escape.
There may be hope yet for Big Ten football to exist, but merely only as spectators to the sport of college football.
And to this I say unto you,
Enjoy watching SEC Bama roll on to another SEC NC win.

I will agree the SEC did have a bad year, Georgia, LSU, TENN all preformed much lower then expected. South Carolina was probably the only team performing at the level expected. With that said SEC did lose a lot of bowls, but remember there are 2 SEC in the BSC bowls, 2 NON-BSC teams meaning the NON-SEC teams that went up against them failed (Oregon). In a bad year, they still were the best conference. The Big12 could be a good conference, but it is so screwed up and needs to be balanced on each side to fix 4 teams beating each other up and having to play Cornhuskers in Con Championship.
