Now that's a horrible thing to say.  I used to be all about violence and injuring the oponents, but then I witnessed in person the 2000 OSU v. Penn State game where Penn State's Adam Talieferro burst his C-5 and had to be rushed to the OSU med center for emergency spinal surgery.  Despite the 3% chance given to him he managed to walk again, but his career was over in that one impact.  

Football is fun and all, but these "guys" are just kids.  Let's not wish horrible shit on them.  

Of course, I wasn't heartbroken when this happened (but only because Willis McGahee was an intolerable prick and I was his age at the time):

Such a boring week in football, college and pro. So many boring games. Wasn't a single interesting college game, with Mic vs OSU the only hope of a game but turned out as expected. In Pro we have 1 good game, Denver vs San Diego.

Detroit v Cleveland was a good game.  I was there, Stafford is a stud.

Dude fucked up his shoulder on the 2nd to last play, then threw the game winning touchdown after Poole was called for pass interference.

24-3 after 1st quarter (Cleveland), Detroit wins 38-37 on the last play of the game. Yes it was a battle of the 1 win teams and would rather have Michigan beat OSU, but this was a nice conciliation prize.

It was. Kinda funny to, when Stafford got hurt he went to the sidelines and the medical staff was working with him. When he heard there was a timeout, he managed to get back out there and hike the ball all while the medical staff was like wtf and trying to get him back on sideline. ESPN quoted the coach saying, "that pass for the win might not have been his best move of the match, some how avoiding and escaping 4 medical staff guys was".
