Scroll down to the Where Tradition Meets Tomorrow album, click the Play button next to track 2 (The Future Soon).  Acoustic demo also on the Other Experiments album.  Anyone who isn't intimately familiar with JoCo's catalog is dead to me.  And in the spirit of celebrity deaths, here's another Coulton song about a celebrity who, while not actually dead, is quite dead in my heart.

The backup singers are Paul & Storm, who you should also know about and whose podcast you should be subscribing to, not to mention Hard & Phirm feature Chris Hardwick of G4 semi-fame.  You fuckers just got some knowledge dropped all over your shit.

JoCo is one of my biggest nerd crushes right now (and has been for the past few years). I was actually just thinking this morning that I need to make a post on these forums to try and trick him into coming to Boise to play - he makes decisions about where he's going on tour based on the number of requests on Eventful.com.  We sing "Stroller town" to the baby and I was able to answer a question from Jeopardy tonight because of the song "The Presidents." One of my professors was talking about the crap from SkyMall and I played him the song, which completely reflected his current rant. I'm trying to learn how to sing "Re: Your Brains" in French (I think that you can still find the mp3 on his website). And I still get teary sometimes when I hear "When You Go" - I associate it with the sudden death of Marc & I's first cat.

So yeah, go listen to JoCo. NOW.

Stroller Town?  What about You Ruined Everything.  That song makes me think I'm missing out on something by not having kids.  Then I punch myself in the dick and get drunk.

How many times have you watched Best. Concert. Ever.?  I'm up to 4 and I had the cd on repeat in my car for a week and a half.  I've heard it so much that I can no longer listen to Creepy Doll cause of the screwup in the 2nd verse.  Yeah, I'm a dork.  Sue me.

There's several JoCo interviews on JJGo, TSOYA, et. al. in the podcast thread that I keep posting in and everyone keeps ignoring.  It's nice to find another nerd-based music enthusiast.
