Hello all!
This is Slokomassian the newest recruit. I kinda just made that name up, so you can call me Sloko for short. I am a lvl 74 Druid, almost 75, with professions Alchemy/Herbalism 408/445. I started Wow a while ago on the Hakkar realm, the Guild I ran with on that server was Driven. I was a healer there for the longest time, raiding things like TK, ZA, ZF, etc... Hakkar was a low-pop server when I started, and by the time I hit 70 the population was in serious decline. Our GM ended up xferring off, and the guild kind of fell apart. There were no other good players around on the realm to run any raids or heroics with. So I transferred to a High-pop realm (Bloodscalp) when LK was released. That server was kind of ridiculous, huge queues to even log on, massive lag in cities, and doing a quest meant waiting in line for 30 mins until the people that were already waiting for the respawn could do it. I work with Bob (Thrun) in the depths of corporate ineptitude, and we would talk Wow frequently. After dealing with the pain on Bloodscalp for a month he said I should come on over to Malygos and run with you guys. So here I am.
I mainly enjoy raiding and instance running, which is what I plan on doing at 80. I did a bit of PVP in the past, but I never really got the PVP gear needed to be of any use, plus I used to be a healer so that didn't help much.
I am 26 now, and my real name is Jordan. I heard about the guild through Thrun, and I just couldn't say no to that beard.
When I transferred to the first server, I found out that it is kind of tough meeting cool people at higher levels. Bob says some of you guys live in Columbus and actually hang out sometimes in RL, which I thought was cool.
