I'm running a Mac PowerBook G4 ive had it for about 3 years now and its starting to suck (5-10 fps in shat if im lucky). I just want some help on building a new comp from scratch(windows). If someone could throw a list together of some stuff that is the shit for gaming im all ears. With tower, no monitor, keyboard, mouse, im looking at spending about 900-1200. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Really at this point you can get a mid range gaming pc with the OS installed and save your self the headache of building, just my 2 cents.

I went with cyber power last spring, and threw a couple of gigs of ram extra in it for shits and giggles and have been pretty happy with it.

I've had coworkers buy from ibuy power as well and they were happy.

Yeh my rig is super sweet.  No issues.  It will take about 3 weeks from order time to delivery time though.  I am impatient though

My two cents:

If this wetback that could hardly speak any English at the time, was able to build his 1st pc with an English/Spanish Dic, you can too.  You will save a lot of money by doing it yourself, plus the satisfaction of the actual build.  No only that, building your rig is like having sex, you get better at it the more you do it!!!
