Damn, I was two days from retierment

« on: November 11, 2008, 05:23:24 PM »

Im just curious to know what everyone thinks about possibly getting a nice group together kinda like the Kara 101 group, to do all the new 10 mans and be sorta serious about it. I know that Glum and I want to raid alot more and with WotLK offering so many 10 man raids there shouldn't be any reason that the Wolverines shouldn't get down on them. I for one would love to see all the new content before the next xpack drops. I can even help lead the raids to these places since not alot of people out of the Beta group knows how to do them.  So just post here if you are interested in doing some raiding in Wrath.

I'll want to raid, mainly on Mondays and Wednesdays/Thursdays after work.  I'm not around much on the weekends.

I'm game on Hunter or Pally (Tank).

My Hunter will more than likely be first to 80 though.

Once Wrath drops I'm sure there will be no shortage of raids. Hopefully as things pick up we will be more active in scheduling them so things are more consistent. As far as getting a "group together" I think that it is a bad idea as some people may feel left out.

Now I would never discourage you from leading as many raids as you can stand to run Dye I just think getting 10 people together and saying this is our group might tick a few other people off.

There seem to be a decent amount of people rejoining us for the expansion, and I expect to get some cool new peeps wanting to join on the way to 80. I have been logging and seeing 20-25 people on at random times during the day. I have no doubt that we will get back into the higher end raiding content with WOTLK

Aye.  It's getting chilly again here in Ohio, so it's about time for us drunkards to bring our sport back indoors.  I'm nearly finished with a huge asset inventory/network restructure project I've been working on in the evenings at my new job.  Once that's complete, you'll have one more durid to help the cause.

I didnt mean that we would set a group in stone but i just meant to throw a group together and just make sure everyone has the same mentality. I love social guilds that arent hellbent on raiding, but seeing all the content that we can is my main goal for Wrath. I raided hard core pre-BC and i loved it but thats just me not everyone likes that type of guild. The amount of interest we have in raiding right now at the end of BC we should keep that momentum going.

I'll be running all this stuff when we get to that level. I actually hope we pull into the 25 man versions as well.

I'd love to see some of the new content, hell I haven't seen much of the current content, but as it stands right now, I don't know where I'll be when I hit 80. I'm going to try to get a new language when I re-up here in the next couple months, so I might be in Cali with a whole new schedule.
