I would imagine what happened is that the flight got intercepted, and the government, knowing the repercussions of having to admit that it shot down a fully loaded civilian aircraft, may have launched a missle or drone to show that their was some kind of impact to throw a smoke screen on the fact that the flight was intercepted. i remember clearly bush himself saying he had given the airforce permission to intercept the flight, but he claimed that the fighter had not got there in time.

My favorite line from detractors is when they say, "how could it have been a 757, look how small the damage is".  Mos people who say this, have no idea how massive in size the pentagon actually is.

The link works for me, you just have to wait awhile for it to load. It was basically about how small the damage was and how little remians were found, and how the ground was barely scared.

It references the video mwarrior just posted.  Not saying I am pointing the finger at anyone or anything in particular, I'm just saying that there are certainly some things that leave doubt in one's mind.

Alright, lemme preface this by saying that I love a good conspiracy theory.  I'm fairly liberal.  And I love accusing our government of shitting on people.  That being said, I think this is all nonsense.  When I was reading the article, the only argument posed that made any sense was that there wasn't damage where the wings should have punched through.  But then, being the level-headed, analytical person that I am, I looked with my own 2 eyes at the pictures posted on the site that claims it's a conspiracy.  The exact same photos, in fact, that they are using to prove this that the wings didn't damage the building.  I couldn't believe it!  THERE IS DAMAGE WHERE THE WINGS HIT!!! Now, sure, it may not be punching through 4 rings of the pentagon-type damage, but there is damage nonetheless...perhaps even the scale of damage that would be caused by a wing that would have sheared off or disintigrated on impact.  See the photos with my edits (in white) below. 

Then there are the following arguments to consider:

1)  If there was no hijacked plane in the first place as some of these people are saying, why did Osama bin Laden take responsibility for the attack on the Pentagon?  If he wasn't behind the attack, then he would most definitely have made it public and blamed our government for it.  This, if proven true by an investigation, would have served his cause better than any crazy fucking thing he could have ever thought up.  This would be like winning the terrorist lottery.  Think about it.  His entire platform is predicated on the idea that the U.S. is a bunch of corrupt, evil assholes with no regard for human life.  The U.S. attacking its own government buildings and killing its own civilians would be the opportunity of a lifetime to prove this to the world.  He would've had such a huge boner that he would be running around the hills fucking every goat and camel and hole in the ground that his crazy ass could find!  (Now that's good use of imagery!)

2)  IF (and that's a big if) the military shot down a jet liner full of innocent people, I very highly doubt they would've washed it down by sending a missile at the pentagon.  Not a very smart move.  Suuuuure, maybe people would be upset about them shooting down planes, but given the day's prior events I doubt the voting public would disagree with the move.


And that's my $.02, but since I wasn't there when it happened and there aren't any clear video shots of the event, I can't say for sure.

yall need to watch the 1:21:50 video that Mwarrior posted before yall respond that its BS.. i watched the whole thing. Those guys did their research and i dont think that you could counter every point.

yes yall make the time and watch the whole thing through. thanks Mwarrior for the link, its a fresh reminder of the tyrannical potential (if not a certainty) of government. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Lest yall forget, rome was allowed to burn by its own government, why would manhattan not.
