77 International Harvester Scout II.  It has sat motionless for the last 13 years.  Outside.  Without so much as a tarp over it.  I'm retarded.

Here's where you start, Dan.  Or, at least, this is where 80% of Wolverines seem to start.

I don't think OSU wants to hire a felon who's only college schooling is in Welding and CAD

I'd always wanted a scout, until I found Jeeps. Scouts kick some ass though, and if you do it up right they are the tits. I've been slowly fixing up my jeep now that I've decided it's not going to be a rock crawler and have a direction to go with the build.

I just bought a v8 Cherokee.  Who wants to go mudding?  I guess I could pick up the kids from soccer  practice first to.

I've seen some neat cherokee builds. It's a nice ride.

I have a Jeep Commander, its a 26k dollar piece of shit.

I like the Scout. Good luck. I never understood why people let vehicles sit out like that.

This thread is all over the place.

Lol, I love the randomness.  I've sold 2 and given away 1 Jeep in the last 6 months.  They're great until you have to work on them.  Sort of like BMW's.

I have a few friends with Cherokees that are pushing 200k, from my understanding as long as you keep up on routine maintenance the damn things will run till they turn to dust.

They probably have the 4L straight-6.  Those things are bullet proof.  Maintenance or not, it's only a matter of time before the electrical gremlins get in there and go bonkers on everything.  Chrysler isn't renowned for their wiring.

Well, can't be anything worse then issues I've had with buicks.  (knocks on wood)

My jeep as the straight 6 and it's a breeze to work on. I've literally done everything myself without having ever seen one before. But you're absolutely right about the electrical. Jesus H Christo there are some gremlins. Doesn't help that the jackass before me had this thing rigged for surround sound and DVD players in each seat, then just jerked the hardware and left all of the wiring. I've pulled no less than 50 ft. of useless cable out of this thing.
