This is my roommate who I dearly love. It's an unfurnished townhouse, and I'm planning on living here throughout the remainder of my college days. Will (the BF) is coming again this weekend, but is apparently only going to stay from Saturday afternoon till Sunday. That's a major improvement. Also, he is going to take the pet home.

Sweet. It seems my subtle bitching has payed off. I just don't want to ruin my relationship with my best friend because I can't be a man about it. I know I should just be straight up, but it's so much more fun to be like "By the way, I'm going to play this joke on your boyfriend, just for fun........" Assuming fun is burning spite and vengence.

If I learned anything in my roommate days it's that it is always best to be straight-forward and honest if there's something that's bugging you.  Just ask Turk.  I used to bitch at him constantly and he loved that shit!  Really though, just tell her that the live-in boyfriend situation isn't working for you and ask if there is a way you could compromise.  The longer this goes on, the more frustrated you will become and it will affect your relationship with your friend whether you want it to or not.  Or you could follow my gut reaction and set him on fire.
