Been shopping for RAM to be able to play warhammer. Currently I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145440. Now I have shopped matching the speed, however the cas latency and timing of some of the ones I was looking at was different. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145522 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145436 The timing numbers are a bit new to me, after reading the first number in the 2-2-2-6 is just the cas latency. The last number should be 5 - 6 with 6 being the best for an AMD board running my type of RAM. What I don't know is with those other RAM selections would they run with my current RAM, would they just scale down in timing to match the speed and cas latency of my current RAM? Or since they are a different pair each will run its own speed together just fine? Any ideas for my system? Require DDR 400 (PC 3200) , have dual channel support, have 2 slots open.

I would not mix, even if they are from the same company.  There are voltage differences, timing differences, latency, etc. that may affect how the system works and then you will be out the $$$ and your sanity.  It may not show up for a week or so is why I refer to the sanity part.  What are you running now for memory amount?

I run that first grouped 2x512 dual channel = 1 gig of ram. It runs good but border line on TF2 and WoW I can notice if I run a couple of chat programs while running game I get shutters. What I normally do is close everything then can run it good. With warhammer, it wants to use over a gig ram excluding the OS and others.
