No. It's already known the media doesnt give a shit. The media simply creates the circus for the people to spectate. Its then left up to the viewers, us, whether we care about it or not, and the media has a good sense of what mainstream America "cares" about.


Have an incident involving a loveable, sweet looking girl who could be your daughter or best friend, etc, and its a gold mine for viewers.

Now if it's a male who's a minority, with tattoos, or crops in his hair, then this story isnt going anywhere. Regardless if its the same condition, and the minority male is being exploited by the police just as the young girl was.

I'm not sticking up for the media, and as a general rule of thumb people are retarded so I'm not going to stick up for mainstream America either.   Media sensationalism is a separate issue, though Montell even comments in the video about what we "care" about by raising the question of who drives it. 

But this story isn't bullshit because it's a honky and it wouldn't be any less bullshit if it were a nigger, spic or gook.   Some dipshit cops exploited a person and got them killed.  People should be up in arms about this sort of behavior regardless of skin tone.
