how my I sign up for events?

Still having some problems with sign up. The calendar only shows B-days and the php link only says I am in the right place...but no sign up.

Below Calendar there is a section called WoW tools. IF you click on phpRaider you should get a calendar also, but you'll see raid icons on some days of the month with a little pencil icon next to them. Click the pencil to sign up for that raid. The pencil will only show up if you have created a "raid" character. When you get to the phpRaider Calendar, you will see a menu bar towards the top with:

Home        Roster         My Account            Create 
 
Select create then select character and make a Raid Character. You should be all set. The pencils should show up next to events you want to sign up for.
