TeamSpeak configuration

I have some friends who lease a TeamSpeak server. The configuration of the channels is pretty straight forward but I'm having a problem helping him with showing people when their in other channels.
For example, when a player moves to a different channel, the player is hidden within that channel; it doesn't expand like our Wolvie TS to show that the person is online - just in a different channel.
Did that make sense? Can you TS Admins lend some wisdom?

Sounds like your buddy had the server configured by the host as a "Public" server. A public server does not expand the channels whereas the "Clan" server does. he needs to ask his host to change it to a "Clan" server. It's an option when the server code is installed.

No, not that I am aware of. It is set up by the host when he/she creates a new server for a client. For example, when I signed up for our TS server they asked me if it was a public server or a clan server. I set ours up as a clan server, but I don't have the ability to change that in
my
admin panel. I guess it depends on how much control they've given him over the backend of the server.
