One other thing... does anyone mod their machine?  I have some really cool custom 3d fan grills, handpainted.  I will try and get these posted tonight.  If you like to add some flair to your machine... these are really cool.

So,

I have neither bought nor stolen Microsoft Office for my machine.  $399 is absolutely insane as a price.  Am I supposed to haggle with Microsoft?  Are there any alternatives other than just borrowing someone's Office CD?

Ahhh... I actually have a copy or two of that available if you are looking for a legit copy.  I can get you a price if you are interested... it's Office 2000 or XP if I remember correctly.

I do, but it's a refurb (I think).  I used to have an old PNY ti4200 and sent it in for warranty repair.  I couldn't wait of course so i bought an fx5900.  Since the ti4200 wasn't sold anymore they sent me a fx5700 card.

Yeah the 5700 is not what you are looking for.  I'm probably going to use it for my kids PC when I get around to building it.
