                                       The Wolverines Code of Conduct

Welcome Wolverines. Written herein are creeds and standards that every member of the guild are to follow when gaming within the World of Warcraft. While we recognize that this is obviously a game, 'The Wolverines' due to the recent growth of its membership, has like Onyxia, become serious business. We should therefore acknowledge the fact, and respect that we incorporate a broad spectrum of people with a various differences in age, sex, race, and beliefs. Following the CoC writtin within will go a long way to ensuring that when you log into the game, your experience with The Wolverines will be pleasurable on a personal basis. No one should have to regret logging into the game as a result of a previous bad experience within the guild. That having been said, lets move on to the basic rules..

1. There are to be NO racial slander or prejudice remarks or jokes said over Teamspeak, or typed to other members, or typed in guild chat at anytime.

2. NO lootwhoring. When instancing with groups, be it publicly or with guildies who are using an open roll system, should at no point you take advantage of that system by 'rolling need' on items where a 'roll greed' system has been established unless such a roll is approved by all other members of the group. Furthermore you should for no reason be rolling on items that are outside of your class restriction, or rolling on items that are within your restrictions (i.e. rolling on mail when you wear plate) unless you have the approval and consent of all other members involved in the group.

3. There is to be NO merchanting to other guild members. If you are looking to gain gold value for items you have acquired, then the auction house or trade channel is the best thing for you. Trading with guildies item for item(s) IS acceptable. You CAN ask other guildies if they have a particular profession skill item to spare (asking for enchanting mats, ores, or smelted bars for example). Asking for gold IS permitted, however repeated asking, demanding, or spamming of need for gold, or of large sums of gold (i.e "anyone have 900 G to spare for my flying mount?") will not be tolerated and will be subject to inquiry.

4. NO slandering or defamation of other guildies by any means, whether verbally, virtually, or any other means. Joking about a friend's mom in guild chat or Teamspeak is one thing, but if your motives are to be intentionally malicious or spiteful in your communication whether verbally, or virtually via chat functions such as guild chat, officer or public notes, or guild message of the day will not be tolerated. Furthermore if you feel you have been the target of such harassment, please bring the issue up to an officer. Should you feel uncomfortable approaching an officer, or perhaps the issue itself is with an officer, you can bring it to the attention of the acting GM.

5. Uphold the public name of the guild. This goes to include your experiences with pick up groups "PUGs". When pugging abide by the set rules and roles of the group as if you were with guildies. This is also inclusive of worldly chats such as trade, LFG, or any other worldly related chat. For no reason should a guildie publicly insult another guild's name or particular member of that guild in relation of that guilds name sake. There may be occasions when person to person interaction occurs and you would like to inform other people publicly of what happened. Mentioning of particular name is acceptable so long as it is professional, but do not be inclusive of the persons guild. An example of such an incident could be "/2.Trade: Guys watch for JohnDoe, he just took all my enchanting mats without doing the enchant and logged off". A bad example would be "/2. Trade: I just got scammed by one of those JohnDoe's guild guys when trading!". Guild public reputation is something that can easily be tarnished and yet take a long time to recover. Guild public reputation, and public relations can go a long way to enriching your experience with trading and PUG'ing.

Upon reading and accepting the rules afformentioned, please follow with an E-signature of acceptance.

Stugots is an Italian American slang word taken from "Stu Cazzo", itself a corruption of 'Questo Cazzo', meaning "this dick". 'Questo' = This, 'Cazzo' = dick
