Listen. You will never be able to knock a South Carolina fan off the high from last year and coming into this year. USC has sucked for nearly its entire history. Just being that high in the AP preseason poll is a win for us. I swear to God, I see people wearing shirts with the date and score commemorating the win against Alabama.

Yeah LSU is way overrated this year. I maintain that the preseason polls are ignorant, and this is no exception despite the fact it's my preferred team. I try and think of what we've got that would make us so high, but nothing comes to mind, since much of the squad is depleted from moving on last year. Not sure how you can interpret that as a slam, but alrighty-roo.
Anyways it should be interesting LSU opening the season with Oregon. Not even sure we will have JJ as QB, so I think Baton Rouge will have to open a Crisis Control Center soon enough.
Damn college football is great to be opening a game up with so much on the line. I know theres some haters for it, but I got to say I love the BCS system for bringing that kind of excitement opening day, rather than siting hands in a lap over some preseason NFL practice games.
