People in this country have forgotten how to work together because we're always looking for a way to "get" the other guy.

No it's not. Also the term "racist/ism" isn't even properly used. Ethnicity would be more appropriate.
What's built into our "lizard brains" is fear of what we initially do not comprehend. Pretty much everyone grows up initially fearing the opposite sex, and at some point people realize the opposite sex aren't in fact aliens. Same thing with people of different ethnicities interacting with each other.
Anyone know where all the people that are up in arms about our "health care rights" were when this happened?
They are probably off somewhere with the "Close Gitmo", "End the illegal wars" and "Repeal the Patriot Act" people.
Because Gitmo is still up, both wars are still running (with Afgan. having revved up even), and the Patriot Act is still intact even after change of Presidency.
Its just like all of a sudden their issues became non issues, because I haven't seen lick-o-fuck about protests concerning that stuff over the last year or so.... hmm, I think you might have something with this one Thrun. There's definitely something going on with this.
