I heard today that some senator is ordering a probe into the climate scientist who reported to congress and was calling AL Gore out for a beating.

On a serious note what is with senators becoming the new court jurisdiction.  I mean drawing people into the senate for an inquiry is just idiotic, doubly so when they have a vested interest in making them look bad.   I'm sure the senator in question has some sort of money coming into his district from Green initiatives or his senatorialship balanced on a platform of cutting down our carbon footprint.   It's like senator's from Michigan who are also in charge of the now government run GM and Chrysler calling in the Mr. Toyoda over a defect that hasn't even been proven yet.
