Yep those videos are FTW!  I wonder if Block would have stuck with Subaru if he could have gotten a factory ride (which is impossible now that Subaru pulled out of WRC last year).  I hope he does well against the competition (which is pretty fierce).

Not that i'm an expert on WRC or anything (although now I have a really good reason to watch) why did Subaru pull out?  I mean, they basically make a car you can take rallying off the shelf....sounds like a no-brainer.

The Subaru factory team gave up on WRC due to these economic times (and poor performances in recent years).  There are privateers that still race Subarus in WRC, and Subaru of America still supports a factory team in Rally America (what Ken Block and Travis Pastrana have up to this point).  However, Rally America is kind of like the equivalent of the CFL or NFL Europe.  WRC is the tip of the spear...and is undoubtedly why Block wants to go there.  To race the best in the world.
