As far as lore goes, the mana within the Zendikar plane is a priceless treasure, bringing with it new and exciting power. With the new ability "landfall", as well as some of the new (actually USEFUL!!!!!!) rare lands, I think they bring the flavor through pretty well.


Cards get more powerful as you drop more land, you actually go "questing" with some enchantments, bringing awesome rewards for completing them. A new(?) creature type called "ally" improves your other allies or have better effects as you play more allies. All in all, looks like a fun and interesting set, looking forward for the full cardlisting

it is an awesome card, got raped by one in a draft I was in.

Zendikar was an ok set. Drafts a lot different than M10 did, and there are some pretty good cards for constructed.
For my *Soldier deck* I cracked 2 Conqueror's Pledge, tossed in an Arrow Volley Trap, and Kazandu Blademaster, among other things
