Such a frightening concept of where it could go negatively.

If they ever do figure out how to "write" things to your brain, the consequences could be insane. Imagine not ever having to go to school? When you're brain is developed enough they just write what you need to know. But then where do you learn to interact socially?
It's mind boggling.
