Wolverines

Hello everyone.... whoever may still be out there.

The site is coming up for hosting renewal in a week or so and I wanted to get feedback from anyone who still be out there?  Is everyone using the 9KDPS site that Phazis is running?  If so, based on the stats I see it doesn't make sense to continue running this one.  Phazis has a great site running over there and obviously more time than I do since I have so many kids.... red insert your "you should have kept your dick in pants" comment below...

Seriously though, anyone?  Should we just let it roll and maybe transfer the domain over to Phazis if he wants to keep it rolling?

I have a lot of memories from this site, but if the stats are shit (and judging by the lack of posts they must be) it might be time to close up shop. The Wolverines group on the 9K site is for active members of the Planetside 2 outfit, so it's a little different than this was, but there is room for everyone on the main site.

I have been here a short time but I would honestly hate to see it go. There are still some Wolverines out there that are not part of the 9kDPS. Mostly Stu and I lol. That domain name alone is worth keeping. thewoberines.net would be really sought after. I am would be surprised if you have not been approached by people wanting to buy it from you. I think we could rebuild the member base if we put some work into it. I personally would be willing to put that work into it. We have a DayZ server. Stu and I brand everything we do with the Wolverines Logo and name. 

P.S. I have a lot of kids too.. I didn't keep in my pants either so I  feel for ya brother!

Oh yeah JT is around too.. We have picked up some others like Chicken Hunter and some others from time to time that show up on the server but not here.

Yeah it would be nice to keep it but we are paying for something no one uses. We could troll on Facebook and let people know what games people will play there.

I would also hate to see it go, but if its time its time.  I think the people who want to stay in touch will. With FB, TS and 9k site we have ways to stay intouch and someware down the line if we have the need for a new forum board,  we can start anew.

The donations for the year are at 65%. If we could all push that to 100% that would be great.

Do not go by those numbers... they do not take into account any payments made out to the host or the ts server.  Before I solicit more money, I may be able to move the site to a free server here at my work and whatever is left over can go to the TS server.

Couple housecleaning items... we have several email accounts created for members... can anyone tell me if they are using their account?  If so, I'll keep it, if not, I'll remove it.  Also, anyone that you recognize that is no longer with the wolverines, I will get rid of regardless.

Hey, so is this staying?  We got a couple DayZ guys that want to join officially and one said he cant.

It's staying... I might have registration turned off... I'll check it.

No - A few people played off and on but there didn't see to be enough interest/people to get one going.
