Title: Lense suggestion for New DSLR Post by: Snackcakes on April 12, 2011, 03:37:17 PM Hey guys,
I picked up a Nikon D3100. It came with a 18-55mm Zoom-NIKKOR VR Image Stabilization Lens. I'm looking for more an all around all-purpose lense. Wanted to know if any of you jokers had any experience with this type of thing. I'm looking at possibly getting this one: http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-35mm-AF-S-Digital-Cameras/dp/B001S2PPT0 Title: Re: Lense suggestion for New DSLR Post by: Redbear8 on April 15, 2011, 05:58:09 PM I would suggest one that doesn't make you sound like a complete faggot.

during a bachelor party dinner at a nice steak house, when caleb was asked by someone what kind of wine he wanted, he replied "how about we get the least faggy wine" Title: Re: Lense suggestion for New DSLR Post by: Kastil on April 19, 2011, 03:43:45 AM SNACKS!
Title: Re: Lense suggestion for New DSLR Post by: RedDawn on April 19, 2011, 11:19:17 AM my lens knowledge is for Canons but it should be the same for Nikons. Canon has an L series of lenses that has better glass in it. The difference is night and day. Overspend on a lens and get the "elite" line. Really Right Stuff makes pretty awesome ball heads. The BH-25 will keep you fairly mobile. Manfrotto 055XB tripods are nice. Then get a remote. With a remote, the ball head, the manfrotto, and good glass your pics wont be so faggotty.
