And I think this one is a keeper.  Tons of fun :)  already going to do some mods!

Kinda small for me but already on the hunt for a bigger one.  :)  The nephews and friends kids love it so...going to build some trails out in the woods behind the house.  Can't wait!

Get rid of that pussy ass rear view mirror...if that thing can actually back up, people should just get the hell out of your way.

It can back up...although not very speedy.  Besides I need that rear view mirror (no matter how pointless) to hang a tree air freshener on, and band my head on.

Here's my new hobby. I have a record player, since i am a hipster douche bag, but now I have a console record player with a tube power and preamp.  I am very pumped to clean this thing up a bit, it sounds pretty awesome as is.  After I have cleaned out the electronics I should probably get a new needle/cartridge then retube it.  It's balls loud and warm sounding as is.

I like old shit, but I just can't get into record players.  Also, this cassette tape fad has to end.  I can sort of understand the audio quality argument behind vinyl, but cassettes sounded like dick.  Fucking hipsters and their complete lack of sincerity...

I remember back in the early 80s I would only buy tapes if they said METAL....because that was METAL \m/

Wouldn't a Metal tape cassette be heavy and also run the read/write head inside the player?...True Story!

A label did some cassettes for us awhile ago, and we just pressed a ton of 7 inches.  (giggity)  We also stuff it all with digital download links /QR Codes.
My feelings on it are that CDs are a waste of time at this point, if you want digital audio just skip the physical media all together. I sold off most of my CD collection in bulk.  The radio station we played at a few months ago was in the process of ripping all their cds and then storing them for cataloging purposes.   If you want physical media then go with record or tape until something better comes along.  I am not sure when the hipsters picked up on tapes, but a lot of crust/thrash bands never stopped since tape trading was a huge part of early metal culture.

I will say that this thing sounds much boomier and warmer then any modern solid state stereo I have listened to, I can't wait to get a new needle and speakers for it.

As a side note, I listened to a record on the lathe they use to cut the masters with at the pressing plant where we did the 7 inches.  I can't describe the sound of listening to something you recorded playing on a set up that costs more then most houses.

Hipsters are in to cassette tapes?  Dam, wonder what they would give me for my collection....that is probably mouse infested out in the garage.

Stu if you are looking to sell some casettes, come down to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Its the hipster capital.

I remember back in the day when gentrification wasn't a real word yet and Brooklyn was a scary, dangerous place.  You guys lost your edge, Jackel...you lost your edge.

Hipster JT says he knew about Brooklyn before you thought it was cool.
