I upgraded the cpu to the 1090t, added a 2nd HD raid 0 extreme performance and upgraded the memory to 8gb 2000mhz

The machine I got last year will be hooked up to the TV, because it doesn't have the game power I need it to have.  So...figured i'd get myself something new.

New Vegas reminded me how much fun I have playing games, so....figured why not?  Maybe I'll get in game in some Battlefield a bit more now too.

Update:  Basically DOA, ran for about 10 minutes.  Got an RMA number, and should be getting back to them by ...the 1st.  grr.  All things looking like the mobo is bad.

This is the guy that owns the pizza place directly across the street from my office.  He's regularly going to international pizza competitions and recently made it into the quarter finals of America's Got Talent.  They also make some pretty excellent pie. 

Also, they are tossing rubber dealies, not real dough so it's kinda cheating.

Speaking of cyberpower I'm looking for a sweet deal on a desktop to replace my laptop for  500-700$ if you guys see anything that sparks interest let me know.

Let me finish with my experience with cyberpower before I give any kudos to them.  It's here a day early, out on the truck for delivery.  I'll set it up tonight (for the 2nd time) and see if it runs right.

OK so update.

Its home, been running for 2 days straight, played wow on it last night on ultra settings, doesn't seem to stutter at all.

Installed New Vegas, on full settings, but didn't have time to play it at all with that.  Just transferred my saved games so we'll see how it does tonight, and it's downloading battlefield right now.

So far so good, at least it has been running longer than a few minutes.

IF my 2 cents matters I've been running a cyber power for 2 years now, dropped a new mobo in it and updated the video card.  I have had no issues with the thing that weren't my own fault.

So far, I'm happy with them.  The bad mobo was, probably, not their fault.  And they've been pretty good with customer service.  The only thing I didn't like is that my HD's were just sitting on the bottom of the case, not mounted.  But, i've mounted them and everything is working fine, we'll see.  I have to get it in some BG's or some mass world pvp to really see how it does.

The mobo is questionable, I walked across the carpet and unplugged from the front USB port.  Jolting it, and bouncing the computer. So it could have been a wiring issue with how it was connected or I could have just built up that much of a charge.  Either way it ended up frying the thing. 

Stu what motherboard did you get that was DOA? Was it a gigabit or asus?
