SCORCHED EARTH.  On the main page there is a mark all threads as read button at the bottom under the WOW area. Click that and then you can start keeping track of the new threads. I asked him about archive options and he said he would look into it later. Maybe we'll move it to a different location and then start a brand new board here.

I've heard time and time again that people come to the board and see all the politics and religious threads and don't stick around. What we are doing here is important bullshit and I'd like the old timers to contribute and not ignore the boards.

If I could have it my way we have the following threads:

GENERAL DISCUSSION
TV/MUSIC/MOVIE
TECH STUFF
GAMES
IMPORTANT BULLSHIT (politics and religion)

Then everything but the IMPORTANT BULLSHIT would show up in the box at the top. There is just a lot of dead shit on the forums right now so I figured we could clean the site up and upgrade it.

You guys do whatever you want mang, nuke the damn thing.  I come here still hoping for a new game or something funny and usually get sucked in to poking nightstalker with a stick so I can skip his 75% TLDR posts.

Yea, we are in need of a major cleanup. I also like the idea of the "important bullshit" area so we dont have to see it/read it if we dont want too.

I agree with Red.  Streamline them and give me the Show Recent Threads main page view back.

I did find an old mod that would let the USER block certain boards from showing up in there.....this might be what we have to do.

Night I really think this needs to be said and I will be honest.  The Right wing is right agenda gets really old. Yes your right, you do get to have freedom of speech, but at what point is your freedom a detrament to this group.  Alot of good people dont come back or never awnser the boards becasue of all the dribble about politics, religion and such.  There has to be more boards out there for you to sperad your belifes, we cant be the last holdouts you need to convert into beliving what you think is right.  There Ive said enough and probly shouldnt of said it because it will hurt your feeling and you will slam me for my grammer or spelling because that way you can look smarter in your eyes. But I would rather see one go to get the masses back.  IMHO.

Thanks for working on the forums and agree with your ideas to remove some of the older areas and group everything better. When we do post games talk in games, and tech and tech it works wonders. If you guys do decide to do a major overhaul and set some new stuff up if you need help send me a message. Wouldn't mind working on some images and other stuff to help out on the forums.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned, but there is a link when you are on the homepage undearneath your avatar that shows "unread posts", which serve the same purpose of the old recent topics thing at the top.

And I put in effort trying to stop that, including trying to get Mev and Alch to play DDO online with us Wolverines instead of going over to WE, calling chow numerous times to tell him and get his fucking account re-registered here, and trying to get Draco to get back involved and have his character back in the WoW Wolv guild.

Like you said other threads were created by others. In no ones defense, none of those types of threads showed up before... It has taken to much of the conversation now. It probably won't stop, because like you everyone is welcome to their own beliefs and intends to stand by them. That is why it is probably best to hold all of it in one forum area on the bottom. But yeah back when I joined WOLV when BF:2142 came out, the discussion was about the game, tech, and general stuff.  :-\
