Title: Our Constitution
Post by: Nightstalker on March 13, 2010, 03:43:21 AM

Alright guys, just got done watching this fantastic video on my country's Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Admendments.

There's usually some heated rhetoric on this forum about such issues of government, i.e. contrasts between Communism, Socialism, a Republic, Democracy etc. and I figured some of you might want to take a look at this, to be primed for debate

Now I want to warn you that this is an 8 hour video class segmented into hour long sections, which is about as brief a synapsis as could be done on it, so some of you might not have the attention span required for it. Maybe watch it in daily segments if you can, but it's great.

Hopefully some of you will be able to watch it in it's entirety, and if you do, you will be entertained and shocked at some points and learn many things about it including:

1. The differences between Rights and Priviledges.
2. Why Healthcare is NOT a Right.
3. Why the two party Democratic/Republican system is detremental to the U.S.
4. That the U.S. is NOT a Democracy.
5. That the Right to keep and bare arms is for We the People, and NOT referring to the National Guard.
6. Other Rights and/or Priviledges you will be shocked to learn that you do not have as a "U.S." Citizen.

Certainly if you are not a citizen of the States, you might be interested to learn of such things as well, and might learn from this why our educated Citizens are often "Gung-ho" about our Union.

Anyways, hopefully some of you will be able to find interest in it. Part of the first vid is rather an into, but it does get entertaining..

We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid any more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior and secure the blessings of debt free liberty to ourselves and our great great-great grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bedwetters.
We hold these truths to be self-evident:  That a whole lot of people were confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim that they require a Bill of Non Rights.

ARTICLE I -- You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV or any form of wealth.

More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II -- You do not have the right to never be offended.

This country is based on freedom, and that means the freedom for everyone, not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc., but the world is full of idiots and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III -- You do not have the right to be free from harm.

If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful. Do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV -- You do not have the right to free food and housing.

Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generations of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V -- You do not have the right to free health care.

That would be nice but, from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in government run health care.

ARTICLE VI -- You do not have the right to physically harm other people.

If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII -- You do not have the right to the possessions of others.

If you rob, cheat or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII -- You don't have the right to demand that our children risk their lives in foreign wars to soothe your aching conscience.

We hate oppressive governments and won't lift a finger to stop you from going to fight, if you'd like. However, we do not enjoy parenting the entire world and do not want to spend so much of our time battling each and every little tyrant with a military uniform and a funny hat.

ARTICLE IX -- You don't have the right to a job.

All of us sure want all of you to have one, and will gladly help you in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE X -- You do not have the right to happiness.

Being an American means that you have the right to pursue happiness -- which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.
If you agree that a understanding of no rights is necessary to "Secure the Blessings of Liberty," I strongly urge you to refer this to as many people as you can, or link it from your own webpages. No, you don't HAVE to .... Nothing tragic will befall you should you NOT refer it. I just think it's about time common sense is allowed to re-emerge in our society and flourish again. Thank you!!!

This is just a variation on shit mouth breathing red necks have been chain forwarding since they obtained email, here's the oldest version of it that I know.

--------------------------------------------------------------

ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended.. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be..

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most char itable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes ....

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. (AMEN!)

ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you are from, English is our language... Learn it or go back to wherever you came from! (Lastly....)

ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I could go on to explain how this one is just as dumb, since we gain all sorts of things from our government that aren't specifically spelled out and there are all sorts of laws in place that contradict it but you'll probably just try and turn it in to some argument about how I need to lrn2read since you are only saying that we don't have guaranteed rights to them.

Save your breath, Thrun.  You can't get through to someone who promotes his paranoid fantasies under the guise of personal conviction.  Some people have, consciously or not, forsaken reason and intellectually-honest debate in favor of shouting "fire" in a crowded room.  Just say "stupid" and move on.

=========================================================================

Show me... Healhtcare!  no? not on there eh.

ok, show me public education! nope, not on there either. hmm

Now, the post office is on there but thats about it.

But oh no Night it says right there " to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States "

First of all the definition of "welfare" has different meaning than by todays standards. When they wrote it did it mean giving out tax exemptions and foodstamps to people? FUCK NO.  Did our country act as such and distribute tax exemptions and foodstamps to people after our founding? FUCK NO.

Social "Welfare" by today's standard wasn't a concept until proxy 1930's when King Socialist himself FDR, pushed it onto the people, though not exclusively him as there were others.

But that's all irrelevant since what matters is to where the general welfare is being addressed.

Does it say that it's for We The People? NO. Does it say that it's for Citizens of these united States ? NO  ("united" is lowercase for a reason)

it say's "United States" which according to Constitutional law, on which the Amendments and Con. is based, this means the Federal government. In fact the arguement of the clause is not about foodstamps, it's about whether it grants the Fed too much power.

Thanks.

My main problem is you use or will use public libraries, roads, public education and police forces while crying about things that aren't guaranteed.  Drop off the grid  and you will have some degree credibility to your argument.  This is almost as funny as the rhetoric anarcho-primitivists come up with.

I'd say you have alot of problems if for one you think you can forecast the future, and answer my opinions for me.

First of all, libraries are just as enjoyable if not more so if they were private, along with all other education. Why the fuck should I have to pay for little brats to go to school when I don't even have any of my own.

How about the Fed not robbing me on my check for public funding, so I can pay off my house or other expenses, at which time I decide to have kids I don't have to deal with debt. Do you realize our has country operated without an overbearing income tax, and that people actually got to own their own things much more easily?

Furthermore, how many social programs are even fucking working at this present time, and how much debt have we accrued as a result of? We didn't always have these social programs nor the problems and debt as a consequence from them.

Who wins the national contests these days anyways? Private school and home school kids are winning the Spelling Bee's etc..

Then stop using any of it, and pay us back for what you have used or shut the fuck up.  As a member of a society you have a vested interest in the over all well being of your neighbors and they yours.  Stop pretending like you are to short sighted to see that.

how do think these social programs even happen in the first place you dumb communist fuck?

I, along will all the other tax payers provide them for us

Give them back?

I already paid for them in full

i'd be more than fucking happy if I could keep all of my check from the Fed, pay for state dues, and pay for everything else on a single basis.

And YOU mother fucking move your hippy ass to Europe if you want fucking social service programs, and leave people who recognize Rights steming from property to the U.S.

We be much better off without people like you. You've already fuck it up enough crying for hand me outs as it is.

Looking at that debt clock I can guarantee you didn't pay enough in taxes to even cover your share of the interest, so no you haven't. And I still think you are a hypocritical leach that sponges off society when it is convenient for you then bitches about it when it's not, and you should probably get your tongue out of Glenn Beck's anus.

If you honestly believe that rights stem from or should only be afforded to people that own property some one needs to slit your throat and bleed you like the pig you are.

It ain't perfect but at least we're not 3rd world...

I can understand not being happy with the current systems in place, I'm certainly not happy with them. But take a trip, spend some time, hell move to a third world country for a few years then come back and appreciate what you do have. It may not even take years, some of you wouldn't last a few weeks.

Really, you don't agree with that?

You want to continue this argument? Fine.

You do realize that your body is property right? And who's property is it? Is it someone else's ? Are you a slave? or do you own your own body or does someone else? Do you have a Right to your property, or does someone else?

Do you want to fucking hand that property over "for the good of the community" ?

I hope not, or else in your case 13th Amendment is being violated. "But the Constitution and this country is stupid weeeeee..."

How about other properties, such as things we make or buy that we own? You want to live in a country in which that shit belongs to the "community?" :

Suppose you with your own labor and materials build for yourself a chair in which to use while in front of a t.v., because "the community" atm has no more chairs to provide.

And since you live in a communist/socialist country, the "Labor Center" gets word from the community that you have a new chair so Vlad and Yan from the Labor Center comes to pay you visit.

 -  Vlad "Hey Thrun we hear that you made a new chair.. nice, looks suite man. Hey, look we're gonna go ahead and take this chair for Mr. Kushinko down on Mao street".

 -  Yan "We respect the fact that you made this chair, but Mr. Kushinko is older than you, and has been waiting for a chair much longer, and we feel that it's in the best interests of the greater good of the community that he have it".

ok.. you might be a little ticked off, because you've been fucking having back spasms and that chair helped to alleviate those problems, and now you have to sit on a hard wooden floor to enjoy watching Hannahski Montanaski.

So you reluctantly build another chair, and not a day later the Labor Center comes by to do an audit of the items which are contained in your community house. They find out about the new chair, and Vlad and Yan come to pay you a visit:

-  Vlad "Damn dude, you a beast with those chair making skills (Yan's in the background doing a raise the roof motion). Hey look, we're gonna go ahead and take this chair for the Labor Center. You use the chair for just leisure purposes, but the Labor Center needs it for work related purposes, which we see as priority."

-  Yan "Yeah, it's kind of silly to have an L.C. conference with one person having to stand up, don't 'cha think? That being said, we still appreciate what you did by making those chairs. It contributes to the greater good of the community. Thanks Thrun, we'll see you for the next audit."

Well are you going to continue to make chairs? Are you fucking stupid?

If you have half a brain, you would tell Vlad and Yan they can go fuck each other "for the greater good of the community" and that those fucking chairs are yours!

But none of that matters anyways because Vlad and Yan come around for the next audit with some shocking news:

- Vlad "Hey man, we're going to have to take this house and move you to a new location. Mr. Pavlov was upset that we had to take the truck he was using, so he got drunk and passed out while he was smoking a cigar. Turned out the cigar ended up burning down the house. We've sent Mr. Pavlov off to be re-educated for 4 years. Hopefully 4 years away from his family will be enough to teach him a lesson."

- Yan "Which brings us to you Thrun. This house is fairly sizable, so we figure we will section it up so that it can accomodate Mrs. Pavlov and her 3 children. As you know, the needs of the many outweight the needs of the few when concerning the greater good of the community"

- Vlad "I'm just going to audit real quick..... ahh, a guitar and drum set. Little Timski ought to appreciate playing with those.... cool, a vibrating spiked dildo. Mrs. Pavlov ought to appreciate that since Mr. Pavlov will be gone for a while.."

- Vlad "Ok all done. Alright, like I was saying, we are going to have to move you. Did you hear that the coal mine in Siberia had another cave in? 230 people died.  Ever since that discovery of big coal in Tunguska, the mine in Siberia has been suffering accidents because all the experienced labor was moved off to Tunguska."

- Yan "Yeah, so we need to round up some more people for Siberian mine. It's a shame that you can't use those great carpenter skills for the good of the community, but for right now the needs for electrity outweigh the needs for household objects"

- Vlad "And at least you still have a job ya know? Well anyways the community sees fit to provide you with some coats and heavy blankets because we know that Siberia can get real cold. Anyways, it's been nice knowing you Thrun. I'll continue thinking about you every time I sit in that chair you made back at the Labor Center, and will tell everyone all about you."

Rights to property including our bodies are bad!!!

Lets give it all up to the government, so they can partition it for the greater good of the community!!!

How is the human body property? Who owns it? Do "you" own it? If we're going with the assumption that no one has a soul does that mean your body owns your body? Or if we do have souls do our souls own our body?

Sure the obvious response will be "Slaves had their bodies owned." And that's the exception to the rule I suppose. I just need someone to explain how a body is property.

What I love about this thread the most is how, no matter what "side" you are on, it always ends up being the other "side's" fault for taking us in a direction that is so wrong and dangerous.  And how someone can't believe that everyone is so blind to what is going on and how poorly off we will all be if we won't form a coup.

Fixed.

In Soviet Russia, you do not stay in school, school stays in you!

Your's?  HAHAHAHA!  I thought I told you not to pick this fight, dipshit!

Your's?  That's not a word.  At all.  In any way, shape, or form.  There is no instance in the modern English language where the second person possessive pronoun has an apostrophe.  FAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLL!!!!!

Stay in school kids, unless, like Nightstalker, you're being home-schooled by your hilljack parents in the double-wide you call home.  In that case, drop out and get a library card.

Library cards are from the progressive movement and inherently evil.

Ya sure it's ok bro!

I was also referring to something when I typed "shiney"..

http://www.thewolverines.net/forums/index.php?topic=5180.0;topicseen

But in actuality it's just a piss poor attempt by JT to burn any bridges linking him to his epic failure.

I was emailed this though it would fit in someware on how the librals are tring to reshape the USA,   I found this funny

For those that don't know him, Major General Peter Cosgrove is an Australian.

General Cosgrove was interviewed on the radio recently.
Read his reply to the lady who interviewed him concerning guns and children.
Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you have to love this! This is one of the best comeback lines of all time.
In a portion of an ABC radio interview between a female broadcaster and General Cosgrove who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military Headquarters.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER:
So, General Cosgrove, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base?

GENERAL COSGROVE:!
We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery and shooting.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER:
Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it?

GENERAL COSGROVE:
I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER:
Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?

GENERAL COSGROVE:
I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER:
But you're equipping them to become violent killers.

GENERAL COSGROVE:
Well, Ma'am, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you?

The radiocast went silent for 46 seconds and when it returned, this interview was over.
