Wolverines

Alright, so my wife and I paid off our Civic yesterday with most of our tax returns, finishing a 5 year loan in only 2 and a half years. The main reason for doing this is because I live 12 miles from work, and anywhere my wife might need to go to is even further away from our house than that, so anytime she or the kids have an appointment, I usually have to leave work early and go with them, or get dropped off at work again without the car. Not anymore! Today we purchased a brand new 2010 Honda Pilot for use as a family vehicle (it can seat up to 8 people, so we got plenty of growing room as a family), and the Civic is now my work vehicle since it has the better gas mileage and will be used much more frequently. The only down side is that I will no longer be seeing any of my pay increase form promotion due to the car payments being about $200 more than what we were already paying. But this is well worth it in the long run since my wife will no longer be dependant on my schedule in order to get around the great city of El Paso.

Congrats, I recommend putting 22 inch rims on it. The ones with the ruby gems are the best.
