I wonder if Block would have stuck with Subaru if he could have gotten a factory ride (which is impossible now that Subaru pulled out of WRC last year). I hope he does well against the competition (which is pretty fierce).

There are privateers that still race Subarus in WRC, and Subaru of America still supports a factory team in Rally America (what Ken Block and Travis Pastrana have up to this point). However, Rally America is kind of like the equivalent of the CFL or NFL Europe. WRC is the tip of the spear...and is undoubtedly why Block wants to go there. To race the best in the world.
