Title: F.E.A.R 2
Post by: Ellanorah on March 19, 2009, 10:31:46 AM
anyone played it yet?

I have it, and have palyed, but not finished yet because it has to update...stupid steam...and stupid dialup...updating games...

anyway, i was wondering for those who have played it, wether you like it?
I like it, because its a new game...haha, but at the same time its like "uh" because it's really similar to FEAR.

i played the demo, its not bad. but call of duty 4 spoiled me for first person shooters. that game is awesome. but the plot line for the FEAR games is pretty good.

I liked it, I have only played a little bit of it because I never have time to game it seems but the graphics were cool, the little girl cut scenes always scary, good times.

i scared myself playing FEAR (the first one) one night.
I decided to play it at night, at home with the lights out, alone...good times.

i still think they need to make more FPS with a female character, cause that would be bad ass

Wasn't Cate there to hold you in your time of scaredness?
There are plenty of FPS with females in the lead but "Bargain Shopper X-treme"  and "Cheer Camp: Hellgate" just don't get the publicity that all the others do.  Not to mention theres only so much time a person can spend killing a demon with a frying pan or a pair of black leather Mary Janes.
p.s. HI CATE!

Played demo, it is almost exactly the same a Fear 1, graphics look better on max settings, but if you set low/normal settings probably a person stepping into the game wouldn't notice the difference from Fear 1. Not that graphics is important, just that the game to me felt exactly like the first Fear, if I owned first one, why would I get second? On a positive note, the demo had you control a Mechwarrior type vehicle, that was fun.
