Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ch0wdah on January 09, 2009, 05:01:34 AM USC would have beaten them.
Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ZONK on January 09, 2009, 05:08:36 AM USC would have beaten them in a contest of teams who think they are better then they are. Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: Jim Tressel on January 09, 2009, 05:20:49 AM I can't wait for the glaciers to melt so the seas will swell up and put Florida underwater. I hate Florida and all of it's schools.
I gotta go drive my Jeep around while spraying my Aqua Net out the window. Later. Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ch0wdah on January 09, 2009, 05:35:24 AM Florida didn't beat USC this year. Or Utah. Or Texas.
Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: Rakrarr on January 09, 2009, 05:45:52 AM or Michigan
Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ch0wdah on January 09, 2009, 07:09:08 AM or Michigan ExACTly. And Utah did. 13-0, show respect. And this is exactly what will happen. I learned all about it this week on the history channel. Its armageggon week. The ACC will prolly be gone too. Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: Kith on January 09, 2009, 02:50:28 PM or Michigan Oh lord, there's another one. That's it, I'm starting an internment camp. Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: Rakrarr on January 09, 2009, 04:41:51 PM I'm actually a Michigan State fan, but I knew that comment would inspire Stallionite to respond so I went with his team.
Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ZONK on January 09, 2009, 08:31:38 PM What can you do, people will always think they had the rights to play in the final. The Pac10 bottom half is shit teams wishing they were playing high school ball. The bottom of the SEC is at least getting 4-7 wins. Play less shit, get into big games USC. Utah is great, I didn't expect them to do that good against Alabama, they proved they belong up there, and should move to a better conference. Texas got shafted way back when they didn't get to play for their conference title. Big 12 has 4 ranked teams in South and 1 in North. If you can't get your conference decided fair no way in hell is the BCS going to be able to. I thought Texas's win over Oklahoma should have overruled the tied breaker of "BCS ranking", so it would have been Texas vs FL in final.
UF beat ranked 13, 6, 5, 21 average = 11.25 USC beat ranked 10, 18, 8 average = 12 Texas beat ranked 5, 19, 16, 9 average = 12.25 (rankings based on final) Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: Gristle on January 09, 2009, 08:53:21 PM It boils down to if you want to play bigboy football, get into a real conference. Your conference officials voted to join the BCS as it stands right now, if you don't like it blame them. If you don't want to play bigboy football but you want to default into the BCS game whether you are good or bad, join the PAC-10 and maybe you'll give USC enough points when they beat you for them to legitamize a claim for once with their flag football schedule.
SEC is 3-0 the last 3 years, doesn't matter what team they were put up against they beat them and the scoreboard is final. Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ch0wdah on January 09, 2009, 10:58:01 PM SEC is 3-0 the last 3 years, doesn't matter what team they were put up against they beat them and the scoreboard is final. Except for USC. USC would have beaten them. And Nightstalker is not here to tell me different. Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ZONK on January 10, 2009, 04:02:02 AM Whatever, the nation predicted the number 2 Gators to win over the Sooners, not just the biased FL residents. That was because of their momentum. Guess it just going to be the same thing every year a good USC team falls short because they don't make it into the big game because no one respects them. I don't know the history of USC, but isn't this what always happens? Leave the Crap-10 perhaps.
Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ch0wdah on January 10, 2009, 07:42:52 PM You mean the Pac 10, the conference that went 5-0 in bowls this year?
Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: Gristle on January 12, 2009, 05:16:31 PM Lol, Miami? Pittsburgh? Oh wait you are talking about that powerhouse BYU!
Oklahoma State was questionable at best, Penn State was a solid respectable win. My pee-wee league team went 14-0 this season, but we still didn't have claim to the BCS championship game. Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: ch0wdah on January 12, 2009, 10:13:16 PM 13-0, 5-0, what else can these teams and conferences accomplish? Because the BCS Championship is decided off the field in the land of make believe and not on a field overseen by Turkley's friends, the refs.
Title: Re: UF Gators, SEC, number 1, national championship Post by: Gristle on January 13, 2009, 03:08:38 AM Play in a non-crap conference where football matters and not an education? Oh wait, I think I hurt myself there.
