I've got a gig of RAM and a RADEON X800XL 256MB (PCI EXPRESS X16) video card, 2.1 Gig processor What do you guys think? another gig of RAM? new video card? recommendations? So if I had to guess.. you could try putting another stick of ram in. It's ridiculously cheap nowadays anyhoo.

If that doesn't do the trick, you should check to see what motherboard you're running. You can pick up a faster single-core proc for pretty cheap and if you've got a board that can handle SLI, you could pick up a matching video card for about $100.
