for reals....I think a buddy of mine does it. I think he hijacks canadian satellite tv. He is pretty sure he is going to be in a world of hurt soon

They sodered parts from one of the recievers on to some machine running a flavor of Linux that's only purpose was to run the card encrypting software.
Then the sodderd the reader that was wired in to the computer on to the card and put the card in to the reciever that was hooked up to the TV. It looked kind of like that shit in T2 where the kid breaks in to the ATM. |
