for reals....I think a buddy of mine does it. I think he hijacks canadian satellite tv. I can ask him about it....i think it takes a lot of upkeep with programming cards and what not

I called my buddy....it's part of a FBI sting operation....the recievers have callback capabilities I guess. He is pretty sure he is going to be in a world of hurt soon

I had some friends that used to hijack it, 7 or 8 years ago.  It took a blank card and 2 receivers.  They sodered parts from one of the recievers on to some machine running a flavor of Linux that's only purpose was to run the card encrypting software.

 Then the sodderd the reader that was wired in to the computer on to the card and put  the card in to the reciever that was hooked up to the TV. It looked kind of like that shit in T2 where the kid breaks in to the ATM.
