Title: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: Dyeboy on November 11, 2008, 05:23:24 PM Im just curious to know what everyone thinks about possibly getting a nice group together kinda like the Kara 101 group, to do all the new 10 mans and be sorta serious about it. I know that Glum and I want to raid alot more and with WotLK offering so many 10 man raids there shouldn't be any reason that the Wolverines shouldn't get down on them. I for one would love to see all the new content before the next xpack drops. I can even help lead the raids to these places since not alot of people out of the Beta group knows how to do them. So just post here if you are interested in doing some raiding in Wrath.
Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: thrun on November 11, 2008, 05:33:24 PM I'll want to raid, mainly on Mondays and Wednesdays/Thursdays after work. I'm not around much on the weekends.
Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: Stallionite on November 11, 2008, 05:44:08 PM I'm game on Hunter or Pally (Tank).
My Hunter will more than likely be first to 80 though. Once Wrath drops I'm sure there will be no shortage of raids. Hopefully as things pick up we will be more active in scheduling them so things are more consistent. As far as getting a "group together" I think that it is a bad idea as some people may feel left out. Now I would never discourage you from leading as many raids as you can stand to run Dye I just think getting 10 people together and saying this is our group might tick a few other people off. There seem to be a decent amount of people rejoining us for the expansion, and I expect to get some cool new peeps wanting to join on the way to 80. I have been logging and seeing 20-25 people on at random times during the day. I have no doubt that we will get back into the higher end raiding content with WOTLK Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: Jim Tressel on November 11, 2008, 06:58:38 PM Aye. It's getting chilly again here in Ohio, so it's about time for us drunkards to bring our sport back indoors. I'm nearly finished with a huge asset inventory/network restructure project I've been working on in the evenings at my new job. Once that's complete, you'll have one more durid to help the cause.

Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: Dyeboy on November 11, 2008, 07:48:40 PM I didnt mean that we would set a group in stone but i just meant to throw a group together and just make sure everyone has the same mentality. I love social guilds that arent hellbent on raiding, but seeing all the content that we can is my main goal for Wrath. I raided hard core pre-BC and i loved it but thats just me not everyone likes that type of guild. The amount of interest we have in raiding right now at the end of BC we should keep that momentum going.

Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: Volk on November 12, 2008, 06:42:36 AM I'd love to see some of the new content, hell I haven't seen much of the current content, but as it stands right now, I don't know where I'll be when I hit 80. I'm going to try to get a new language when I re-up here in the next couple months, so I might be in Cali with a whole new schedule.
Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: Ellanorah on November 12, 2008, 09:56:07 AM i'd be interested in the 10-mans, my current connection can't cope with anything bigger (lol)
wed/fri/sat i'm good to go, just lemme know before hand so i can try and get in game on time Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: Dyeboy on November 12, 2008, 01:27:30 PM im glad to see all this interest in raiding, we will have to come up with times and days when more people start hitting 80
Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: LostDream on November 12, 2008, 01:35:44 PM I will be more then happy to add my little lock pew pew. The only problem may be that once I move to Hannover, Germany in mid Jan, I'll be on a German hour schedule so you may need to fill my spot. As of now, I will take my Lock to 80 1st and then my DeathKnight.
If we start a very late night raiding group, I would be very happy to join it once I move. Dude i live in New Hannover County in NC!!! we will pretty much be living next to each other Title: Re: WotLK and You: What lies within may be disturbing Post by: Kith on November 12, 2008, 03:15:28 PM I think it's a safe bet that most, if not all, of the guild will be down for the 10-mans. Obviously Blizzard took a few notes based on the popularity of Karazahn - hopefully you won't need the perfectly balanced group to make the raid work(think ZA in it's original version).
I, for one, am looking forward to getting back to Wolverine-only raids. Not that other guilds don't have worthy players, but the level of boobery in our guild seems to be alot more reasonable - unless JT is healing a raid naked, and that's just good comedy. I prefer the Wolverine variety of boobery. If we continue to use PHPraider as we have in the past, (posting a raid for people to sign-up), I think we'll be in good shape.
