It seem to have really effected IE (But not Foxfire) every page pops up to Blank then goes to Total Secure 2009 then to Blank. also when I look it up it said it a Trojan. OK I have Window XP professional. Im am open for what ever it takes. Even if i have to whip my hard drive and start from scratch
Title: Re: help Post by: Reddawn on October 30, 2008, 01:40:02 PM honestly...easiest thing to do is reinstall XP. Save yourself the aggravation.
Burn your wow folder to DVD and then reinstall windows. When you are done just copy WOW back to your hard drive (gr0n turned me onto that)....huh huh I said gr0n turned me on Title: Re: help Post by: thrun on October 30, 2008, 01:45:18 PM thiese articles of any use to you?

Depending on what virus you have formatting and reinstalling is always the best way to get rid of them. it's either that or hours of scouring your machine for infected files with countless programs. It's a pain in the ass.
I would suggest though, giving this a shot if you don't want to reformat. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-removal/remove-total-secure-2009 and damn you thrun for beating me to it.
