Title: Re: Amazon Kindle Post by: ch0wdah on October 03, 2008, 03:41:21 PM I read a decent amount, but I enjoy 20th century paperback technology and large pieces of furniture to house these books in quantity.
Title: Re: Amazon Kindle Post by: Redbear8 on October 03, 2008, 03:49:56 PM What is this reading you speak of? I've seen the Kindle in person, and I have to say I wasn't a big fan. Reading anything on a screen for an extended period of time kills my eyes.
Title: Re: Amazon Kindle Post by: Reddawn on October 03, 2008, 04:41:03 PM well...nancy...I have norwegian eyes that are used to searching for land and monsters in the mist.....I don't get eye strain
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODIN! Title: Re: Amazon Kindle Post by: Kastil on October 03, 2008, 09:55:06 PM I have Bette Davis eyes! Which are amazingly wide and protruding.
On a related note though I prefer the good ol feeling of holding a hardback in your hands as you lie back in a milk and rose petal bath. Not to mention you can't place your trastickels in a Kindle and slam it closed for kicks now can you? Title: Re: Amazon Kindle Post by: skeanthu on October 03, 2008, 10:08:44 PM I thought the Kindle displayed in a way not to fatigue?

If you don't know a word, it looks it up. You can have the paper sent to your kindle every morning. Nice size screen, good visibility. You can change the font whenever you need to. If you run out of space, Amazon remembers every item you have ever purchased and you can recall it at any time. If you read a lot and have the cash, I would go for it. Check one out in person if you get the opportunity! Title: Re: Amazon Kindle Post by: Jim Tressel on October 16, 2008, 03:46:41 AM I keep all of Sandra Brown's books on my Kindle. I just can't get enough of her witty literary style.
Title: Re: Amazon Kindle Post by: Phazis on October 16, 2008, 12:13:43 PM I know few people with them and I see people on trains using them all the time. I rly wanted to get one but rumors on version 2 keep poping up here and there.
