Microsoft's announcements today at E3 are just the beginning.  They are going to have a huge remaining part of the year.  Not only can you get NetFlix movies on their instant queue service, but you can share them with your friends list so they can watch at the same time too.  Very cool stuff.

I am so glad I bought a 360 now!  Did I mention how much I paid for it?  WIN!

The real question is, is it only the movies available in their 'instant' section on netflix or are they expanding that.

They are always expanding but now with the 360 and rocker thingie I bet they ramp it up big time

That is true.  And that isn't to say I haven't enjoyed the instant movies thusfar.  Its been nice being able to watch all of season 1 of dexter without having to find a site or watch it on cable.  But.. if you could watch ANY of those movies, that would be amazing.

There's no *technical* reason why you couldn't play any XBox game with XBox controllers on a PC right now.  It's all about marketing/money.

Correct, you'll have to restart your xbox in order for the download to start.

So, I got my new dashboard downloaded this morning, but didn't have time to do anything with it.  If the time estimate was correct, it only took about 10 minutes from turning it on to having it installed and ready to use.  I went to get ready for work after it got to the install phase so I'm not sure if it's 8 minute estimate was right or not.
