Title: Any advice on smartphone/pda? Post by: Varg on January 23, 2008, 08:57:46 PM Its time to reup my contract, and sense I can get a good discount on a phone when I do this, I am going to upgrade. Anyone know anything about the BlackJack2? The Blackberry Curve? I am clueless about all this but I want something that can browse the web, has GPS and looks decent.

Surprisingly the Apple iPhone crew hasn't chimed in yet. I'm a Verizon Wireless guy thru and thru, but that's because I've tried all the rest where I live and VZW is the best for me. Lately though I've had no need for any smartphone/pda combo.

The blackjack 2 is pretty sweet. I saw Tom's pearl and it's cool. Title: Re: Any advice on smartphone/pda? Post by: Varg on January 24, 2008, 01:56:52 PM Do you guys have that $30 dollar pda service? Do you need that? I thought they had some charge by KB option.
Title: Re: Any advice on smartphone/pda? Post by: Reddawn on January 24, 2008, 02:16:35 PM not sure about a pda service. I know if you wanna use the GPS there is a fee associated with that. I am getting the BlackJack II next weekend so I can give you a full report.
I decided the iphone wouldn't do me any good for a couple reasons: 1. I pirate all my mp3s so the album art view would be blank 2. No wifi authentication 3. No 3G 4. $400 5. F Steve Jobs |
